Partner Charities

From the moment Clutter Collect began, our intention was to identify charities with similar values to our own that we could partner with.

With all of that happening behind the scenes, we're now confident we have a robust, sustainable and feel-good process.

Partner with our team and our charities to match-make your unwanted stuff with people in the community who need it most.

We are proud to partner with the following charities:

Habitat for Humanity (Northern Region)

Habitat for Humanity logo

"Building strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter"

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organisation that helps families build and improve a place to call home, here in New Zealand and around the world. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities.

We ensure the donated items from your Clutter Boxes which are suitable, are collected by Habitat for Humanity, for redistribution. Especially curtains for their Curtain Bank initiative and other practical homewares.

To support these amazing charities, we ensure that everything we collect in our Clutter Boxes is sorted, washed/sanitised and tested if necessary. It's important to us that we don't pass on any additional administration to our Partner Charities, so putting in extra time and effort before anything is re-homed is an essential part of our process. You also can help us by start decluttering your home and donate your items to us. Our Partner Charities can rely on us to provide them with quality, functioning goods, and most importantly, the individuals and families they care for are able to access support, with dignity.

In addition to providing goods to our Partner Charities, we also donate $10 from every Clutter Box collected when you use the individual charity's discount code (below). We make our Partner Charity donations on a monthly basis, and are happy for the charities to use the money however they need. We know that it can be tricky for charities to access financial support for administration and operating costs, so if that is where our Partner Charities need to spend their Clutter Collect donations, it is a-ok with us.
